Led by Artistic Director Miranda Hill, Homophonic! is a leading voice in queer classical music since 2011.
Through performance, regional touring, commissioning, the Homophonic! Pride Prize Composition Competition and the RESPECT project telling the stories of LGBTIQA+ elders in music.


Artistic Director Miranda Hill won the "Victorian Luminary" award at the 2023 APRA/AMCOS Art Music Awards, was a finalist at the 2021 Melbourne Awards for Services to the LGBTIQ+ community, and is currently a finalist for the 2025 Globe Pride Awards for "Outstanding Services to the Arts".
